Books are the friends of man. I really believe it. Why? Cause I have no friends. Books have been my companions from my childhood. I trust upon the hopes and dreams they give me even more than I trust my parents. I know it sounds odd, but it’s true.

Not that I don’t love people. I sure am a very jolly person who loves to have some company. But books mean the world to me. I can’t stay a day without reading a few pages.

Many people think books are often useless. When we have the internet, why do we need books? They don’t understand the value of books. Sure, you get to know a lot about the world from the internet, and you get recent updates, and you get to know what not. But you read books, you understand the culture, the tradition in them. You get to improvise your language, your imagination.

That’s why books are great.
